Hello. My name is Watt Iamsuri. I'm a software developer with interest in machine learning. My interest in software development started when I took computer science class in university. The sheer joy of seeing beautiful code compile and run was so addicting that I had to minor in computer science. While in university, I was eager to apply computer science knowledge to a tangible body, which is why I started to learn iOS development.
After graduating, I worked as a software developer at Cookly, a startup based in Bangkok. There, my role was full-stack web developer. I had the opportunity to learn and master everything from front-end development to web infrastructure.
I have to admit, I miss probability and statistics. Industrial engineering courses showed me the beauty in stochastic matrix and its eigenvalue. With that in mind, I started to learn about machine learning on my own, hoping to get my hands dirty in linear algebra again. The next thing I know, I was hooked by the elegance of machine learning models. And the journey continues...
Apart from the geeky stuff, I cook, play sports, read, listen to music, wakeboard, and do anything that will get myself hurt. I always want to explore new activities and learn new skills.
